SHAH ALAM, Jan 23 — The Selangor state government has reaffirmed its firm stance against any form of corruption in its administration, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
He emphasised that integrity and transparency continue to form the cornerstone of the state’s governance, ensuring accountable service delivery for the benefit of the people.
“The state government’s principle is clear: no compromise. Selangor remains committed to integrity, transparency, and clean governance in carrying out its mandate. This is for the people’s interest and Selangor’s future,” he wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, Amirudin received a courtesy visit from Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director Mohd Azwan Ramli.
The menteri besar described the meeting as an important platform to strengthen strategic cooperation with the MACC, particularly in promoting good governance, transparency, and public service integrity.
In February last year, Amirudin led the state executive council (MMKN) members in signing the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) as a commitment to curb corrupt practices within the administration.
The initiative also underscores the state government’s seriousness in fostering an ethical and transparent work culture, boosting Selangor’s image as a progressive and resilient state.
