SHAH ALAM, Nov 28 — The Rapid Response Team (Pantas) of the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has stepped up monitoring at flood-prone locations following heavy rain since early this morning.
The local authority said the proactive measures aim to ensure that water levels in critical areas remain under control and to respond quickly to any incidents.
“Members of ou team are currently conducting regular patrols in critical areas that often experience rising water levels.
“This also serves to inform residents in the event of situations that require immediate action,” the council stated on Facebook.

Among the locations under focused monitoring are:
Taman Sri Muda floodgate, Section 25
Bukit Rimau Flood Control Station, Section 32
Taman Bukit Kemuning, Section 32
Sungai Damansara TTDI Jaya, Section U2
Sungai Buloh Kampung Kubu Gajah, Section U17
Jalan Jati Kampung Melayu Subang, Section U6
Taman Mesra Water Pump Area, Section U1

Surveys have shown that water levels at these locations remain under control and have not exceeded danger levels.
