SHAH ALAM, Nov 14 — An additional one and a half months’ salary under the Special Financial Assistance (BKK) scheme will be disbursed to state civil servants on December 18, said Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari.
The assistance forms part of the three months’ salary paid out earlier this year in recognition of their service and commitment.
“This assistance includes allocations for community leaders, Kampung Baru, Bagan, and Tersusun relation officers; Indian community leaders, Wanita Berdaya supervisors, and Selangor Youth activists, who will each receive one month’s allowance," he said during a press conference after tabling the 2026 Selangor Budget at the State Secretariat Building today.
Amirudin added that mosque staff will receive a RM500 state contribution through Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI.
He noted that the BKK, which was not mentioned during tabling, will not disrupt the debate on the Selangor Supply Bill 2026.
“No, why would it disrupt anything? It is in the text, and whatever is contained in the text is considered part of the speech,” Amirudin said.
Last year, Selangor announced a BKK amounting to two months’ salary, to be paid in stages.
