MB announces three-month bonus for state civil servants

SHAH ALAM, Nov 14 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has announced a Special Financial Assistance worth three months’ salary for Selangor civil servants and community leaders, in recognition of their service and commitment.

“This administration has undertaken bold reform measures to enter a new era of Selangor Juara.

“To realise this vision, we require the commitment of all, and as a token of appreciation and encouragement for the service of public servants, the state government is pleased to announce a Special Financial Assistance for this fiscal year equivalent to three months’ salary,” he said during the tabling of the 2026 Selangor Budget in the State Legislative Assembly today.

Amirudin added that one and a half months’ salary had already been disbursed earlier this year, while the second disbursement of one and a half months’ salary, with a minimum of RM1,000, will be distributed on December 18.

The bonus also extends to community leaders, including Village Community Management Councils (MPKK) heads; Kampung Baru, Bagan, and Tersusun relation officers; Indian community leaders, Women Empowerment supervisors, and Selangor Youth activists, who will each receive one month’s allowance.

“Mosque personnel will also receive RM500 through contributions from the state government via Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) or MBI,” he said.
