SHAH ALAM, Nov 13 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari has invited people in the state to watch the tabling of the 2026 Selangor Budget tomorrow.
Themed “Selangor Champions, People Prosper”, the budget will be tabled at 3pm. The live broadcast will be available on Amirudin’s social media and the Media Selangor website, as well as Media Selangor’s Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Telegram, and MYTV channels.
Previously, Amirudin said next year’s budget was formulated with a comprehensive approach that emphasises a balance between economic growth and the people’s well-being, as well as good news for Selangor civil servants.
He also said the budget will focus on new education- and poverty eradication-centred programmes to ensure the people progress with the state.
Amirudin added that this budget also focuses on flood mitigation projects in line with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement of RM2.2 billion for 43 high-priority flood mitigation projects under Budget 2026.
