SHAH ALAM, Sept 6 — The Selangor Creative Micro Fund 2025 has opened with a RM80,000 allocation to help realise the creative ideas of entrepreneurs, students, and the creative community in the state.

Applications are open until September 17, before 11.59pm, while the pitching session will take place on September 24 at the MBSA Convention Centre.

The RM20,000 grand prize awaits the winner, followed by RM15,000 for second place, RM10,000 for third place, while each consolation prize winner will take home RM5,000.

Participation is open to both new and existing creative entrepreneurs, creative start-ups, community collectives, as well as Technical and Vocational Education and Training students in design, animation, media, culture, and related areas.

Participation is also open to growing micro companies in the creative sector, provided that they are not blacklisted by any financial or non-financial institution.

The Selangor Creative Micro Fund 2025 theme is Heritage and Culture of the Future, Creative Solutions for Communities, Media, Technology and Digital Content, and Creativity in Local Business and Products.
