SHAH ALAM, April 26 — Scheduled maintenance works on Sungai Selangor Phase 1 (SSP1) water treatment plant (WTP), initially set for next month, have been moved to a future date.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said this in a Facebook post today, but did not provide a reason for the postponement.
“Referring to the information regarding the scheduled maintenance works, Air Selangor would like to inform that these works will be moved to a new date that will be announced later,” it said today.
“Any latest information pertaining to maintenance works can be directly obtained from our official communication channels, including Air Selangor’s mobile application, website and social media platforms.
Previously, Air Selangor had said that scheduled maintenance works of SSP1 WTP would be conducted from May 14-16.
Works involve several locations around Klang Valley.
Among the districts and territories that risk facing water disruption include Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Shah Alam, Klang, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor.
