SHAH ALAM, Jan 26 — Universiti Selangor (Unisel) received a working visit by the delegation from Universitas Fort De Kock (UFDK) Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia, on Wednesday (January 24).
The delegation, led by UFDK's rector Evi Hasnita, was warmly welcomed by Unisel at an event held in the Senate Meeting Room at Unisel's Shah Alam campus.
Unisel's corporate communications director Hasril Abu Hassan said the delegation's visit resulted from Unisel's earlier visit to UFDK last year.
"The main purpose of this visit covered aspects of international cooperation related to public health management and services.
"May this cooperation strengthen, and health care promotion programmes especially related to the Health Sciences Faculty (FSK), be enhanced," he said in a statement.
During the event, Unisel also organised a lecture titled 'Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Detecting Atherosclerosis,' presented by Dr Mardhiyati Mohd Yunus, a FSK lecturer.
