SHAH ALAM, Dec 27 — The Kuala Selangor Municipal Council (MPKS) is opening applications for Ramadan and Aidilfitri bazaar permits at 14 locations starting on January 3 next year.
In a Facebook post yesterday, it said 869 lots for the Ramadan bazaars and 316 lots for the Aidilfitri bazaars will be made available for traders.
All lots for the Ramadan bazaars are offered at between RM300 and RM400, while lots for the Aidilfitri bazaars start as low as RM150 and go up to RM400.
"Online applications will be open from 12pm onwards on January 3 until January 17, 2024, at https://ip3ks.mpks.gov.my/.
"For further inquiries, please contact the MPKS Licensing Department at 03-32891439 extension 184," MPKS said.
Traders interested in applying must be free from compounds issued by the local authority, and must attach the required supporting documents. Sugar cane and coconut water hawkers are required to pay a RM60 additional fee when applying.
Similarly, MPKS also encourages traders to register with the Selangor Platform (Plats) online business app.
