SHAH ALAM, April 12 — The Kinrara state constituency's office donated vouchers to purchase basic necessities for the residents of nearly 50 homes affected by the strong storm in Kampung Batu 13, Puchong, on Saturday (April 8).
Its state assemblyman Ng Sze Han said the vouchers are worth RM200 individually, and is a gesture of concern which he hopes will help the victims in covering their expenses.
"Alongside the vouchers, we are also working to donate some 300 units of roofs manufactured from recycled materials, with an estimated cost of RM50 per roof.

"The roofs manufacturer Tetra Pak will sponsor all the items after a request was made on Saturday, following my visit to the affected homes.
"Repair works commenced yesterday, and I also provided a small contribution to the contractor's wages, to relieve the victims' financial burdens," he told SelangorKini.
The storm, occurring around 4.30pm, affected over 20 locations around Kampung Pulau Meranti, Taman Putra Perdana, and Apartment Angsana Bukit Puchong 2.
Asides from residences several public infrastructures, mosques, suraus, and business premises were also damaged by the storm.
