PETALING JAYA, Feb 9 — The Selangor government will continue to play an active role in providing the best business and investment environment.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the effort is to support the state's economic recovery after going through a challenging period following the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent disaster.

“According to the World Bank Group in 2020, Malaysia is ranked 12th in the Ease of Doing Business Index. So, I believe Selangor can offer the best and most conducive environment for businesses to operate in the state.

"I am also confident that with the current efforts, Selangor will continue to be a stable and prosperous destination for everyone as well as battle-ready to deal with any economic crisis in the future," he said.
