SHAH ALAM, Oct 27 – A 37 year old man with disability was found drowned in a drain in front of a school in Pekan Simpang 5 yesterday.
Sinar Harian reported that Sabak Bernam district police chief Supt Md Yusof Ahmad said they received an emergency call at 5.29pm regarding the incident.
The 37-year-old victim, who was registered as intellectually disabled, was found unconscious after being rescued from the drain by members of the public.
"However, no criminal elements were detected in this incident," he said.
Yusof added that the post-mortem confirmed the victim died due to drowning.
"The case has been classified as a sudden death," he said.
