SHAH ALAM, Oct 27 – A newly upgraded basketball court has been restored for residents along Jalan Segar 3, Taman Selayang Segar.
Selayang MP William Leong said the refurbishment project, funded with an allocation of RM89,600, is now complete.
The restoration is part of Projek Mesra Rakyat, an ongoing commitment to upgrade public facilities for the well-being of the Selayang residents.
“This project entails the refurbishment of the basketball court and related works, ensuring that this community sports facility remains in good condition, safe, and comfortable for use by local residents.
“Well-maintained sports facilities encourage recreational activities, foster a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen social bonds within the community.
“We hope that local residents will join in maintaining the cleanliness and facilities of this court, ensuring it remains in good condition for the long-term benefit of all members of the community,” he said in a Facebook post today.
