SHAH ALAM, Oct 25 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has instructed his officers to provide immediate assistance to two journalists injured in an accident while travelling to cover an event in Bagan Datuk early this morning.
The journalists, Nur Afiradina Arshad of BERNAMA and Zahratulhayat Md Arif of the New Straits Times, were involved in the accident while on assignment.
In a statement, Anwar said he hoped their medical treatment would proceed smoothly and that both would make a full and speedy recovery.
