KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 19 — Rapid KL will deploy 85 buses for a special shuttle service to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) in conjunction with the 2026 Petronas Grand Prix (GP) of Malaysia from next Friday (October 30) to November 1.

Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Syahrul Azmir Ahmad Zaki said the service aimed to meet the transport needs of motorsports fans and facilitate their journeys to the circuit.

Tickets will go on sale from Thursday (October 22) onwards at selected customer service counters and the Pasar Seni Bus Hub.

“Every year, motorsports fans from various locations gather in Sepang to experience the excitement of this world-class race firsthand. Rapid KL hopes this service will make their journeys to the circuit easier and more comfortable,” he said in a statement today.

Syahrul added that the shuttle service would operate from three main locations: the Pasar Seni Bus Hub, the KLCC bus stop, and the KLIA Terminal 2 Bus Hub.

A one-way ticket from Pasar Seni or the KLCC bus stop costs RM20, while a return ticket is RM35. The one-way fare from KLIA Terminal 2 is RM12.

Buses travelling to SIC from all three locations will operate from 7am to 1pm at 30-minute intervals, while return services from the circuit will run from 4pm to 7pm.

In collaboration with SIC, Rapid KL will also provide a free shuttle service around the circuit throughout the event to help visitors move around.

The public is advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long queues and waiting times. Further information is available on the official MyRapid website and through the MyRapid PULSE app.
