SHAH ALAM, Oct 18 — Four solar powered light emitting diode (LED) lights have been installed at Parit 5 and Parit 8 in Sekinchan to facilitate the movement of residents and improve safety at night.
Sekinchan state assemblyman Dato' Ng Suee Lim said this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve facilities and safety for the local community.
"These LED solar lights do not require an electrical grid connection; instead, they harness solar energy absorbed during the day to provide illumination at night.
"The installation is also intended to enhance resident safety, as the lights help road users see more clearly when driving at night," he said.
Ng added that the installation was approved by the state executive councillor for infrastructure and agriculture Dato' Izham Hashim, following a proposal by Sekinchan Zone 4 Municipal Councillor Mohamad Masudi Jubri.
"This ongoing commitment is aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people and fostering better development in the Sekinchan area," he said.
