SHAH ALAM, Oct 15 — Schools under eight District Education Offices (PPDs) in Selangor will be shut tomorrow, said the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS).
In a statement today, it said the order involves schools under the Klang, Kuala Selangor, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, Gombak, Sepang, Petaling Perdana and Petaling Utama PPDs, while institutions under the Hulu Selangor and Sabak Bernam PPDs will stay open.
It however said outdoor activity at Hulu Selangor and Sabak Bernam schools are not allowed.
“Parents, guardians and the education community are asked to take note of the (update) and refer to JPNS’ official channels for the latest information.
“Any change in school operation status will be informed through this department’s channels,” JPNS said.
