KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 — Local artificial intelligence (AI) company Enygma Technologies Sdn Bhd (Enygma AI) emerged as the top winner in the Deep-X category at the Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026 yesterday.
Enygma AI Founder and chief executive officer Rashad Tajuddin said the victory came as a surprise, describing the competition as a valuable experience that would help his company grow.
“We started as an AI technology startup in 2022, when the technology was not yet widely adopted. Today, we focus more on AI-powered visual inspection services.
“We also use equipment such as drones, robotics and other applications. We did not face any major challenges throughout the competition because we viewed it as a platform to continue growing,” he told Media Selangor.

Meanwhile, E23 Sdn Bhd Founder EE Wui Yang, whose company won the Token-X category, acknowledged facing challenges in explaining its digital infrastructure technology to the panel of judges.
He said E23 Sdn Bhd, which began operations last year, provides stablecoin-based payment infrastructure, tokenisation systems and a post-quantum sovereign Layer-1 blockchain network.
“Our challenge during the competition was convincing the judges because I must admit that the technology we use is still relatively new in Malaysia.
“Our company is also relatively new, and I hope this victory will open up more business opportunities for us,” he said.

The Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026 Final Demo Day, organised by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC), was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre yesterday and officiated by state executive councillor for investment Ng Sze Han.
Enygma AI and E23 Sdn Bhd each took home RM20,000 in cash prizes, along with the opportunity to participate in Hong Kong FinTech Week, scheduled to take place next month.
