SHAH ALAM, Oct 12 — From daily sales of around RM500, trader Mohammad Noor Shaffiq Zainuddin, 32, is now targeting up to RM1,000 a day after receiving business equipment assistance from the state government.

The assistance, comprising a wok and a chest freezer under the Poverty Eradication Blueprint Assistance Programme, will enable him to increase production capacity to meet customer demand.

“My daily sales were previously around RM500. With the equipment assistance I have received, I am aiming to double my sales,” he said.

Shaffiq was speaking to Media Selangor after the handover ceremony for the Selangor Blueprint and Selangor Indian Entrepreneur Equipment Assistance Programme (i-SEED) at the Petaling District and Land Office today.
