SHAH ALAM, Oct 8 — Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) temporarily suspended services for depositors after detecting suspicious cyber activity yesterday, it said in a statement today.
“As part of ongoing preventive and security-strengthening measures, TH is currently conducting comprehensive monitoring of all systems affected by the temporary service suspension.
“TH is also working closely with relevant agencies, including the National Cyber Security Agency and CyberSecurity Malaysia, to address this matter.
“TH understands the inconvenience depositors may face and apologises for the disruption,” the statement read.
TH also assured depositors that their savings and personal data are safe and secure.
“The security of depositors’ savings and information is always TH’s top priority,” it said.
It added that it would announce updates on its official channels, and told depositors to contact it at 03-6207 1919 if they have questions.
