SHAH ALAM, Oct 7 — The Larian Kita event this Saturday, organised in conjunction with Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj’s Silver Jubilee this year, has been postponed, said its secretariat.
It said the delay is in line with the Ruler’s concern for the people’s health and safety amid the worsening haze.
“More information on the new date and the programme will be communicated from time to time through the organisers’ official channels.
“The secretariat expresses its utmost gratitude for all parties’ attention and cooperation in this matter,” it said in an Instagram post today.
Larian Kita was to be held at Sultan Suleiman Stadium in Klang this weekend.
Other events organised in conjunction with the Sultan’s Silver Jubilee include a meet-and-greet with orphaned children in the peninsula, as well as the launch of the Royal Selangor Polo and Equestrian Club (RSPEC) in Cyberjaya.
