SHAH ALAM, Oct 7 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) found unlicensed traders and businesses operating in Pulau Indah and North Klang during an operation on October 3, it said in a Facebook post today.
It said its Licensing Department and Enforcement Department took action against the offenders, which included foreign vendors, during the raid along Jalan Perigi Nenas 8/5 on Pulau Indah.
“The inspection revealed seven premises and two vendors managed by foreigners involved in unlicensed business activities, as well as several cases involving prohibited activities, the sale of live chickens, the sale of liquor, and gambling activities.
“The seizure of 11 equipment and commercial goods sites were done,” it added.
In a separate operation along Jalan Rantau Panjang 3/KU4 in North Klang, MBDK inspected two cyber centres and found both operating without valid licences.
It added that two inventory forms have been sent to the companies’ representatives for seizure.
“MBDK will keep carrying out enforcement to ensure business activities comply with established regulations, licensing requirements and laws,” it said.
