KLANG, Oct 3 — The 2027 Selangor Budget will focus on addressing issues that directly affect the people, especially flood and waste management and liveability, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
“We will also try to identify main issues (in) needy groups, including the need for children’s schooling, food, and jobs,” he added when met after the Tabung Warisan Anak Selangor (TAWAS) payout presentation ceremony at KSL Convention Centre here today.
He said forums and focus group discussions for the 2027 Selangor Budget are still being held.
He explained that the state’s spending plan will carry Selangor’s aim to achieve a RM500 billion economic value in the next one and a half years.
“We will of course keep driving Selangor’s economy towards RM500 billion in the next one and a half years,” Amirudin said.
The 2027 Selangor Budget will be tabled on November 13.
