SHAH ALAM, Sept 22 – Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has taken firm action against unlicensed business activities through the seizure and closure of a cyber centre in Taman Equine, Seri Kembangan.
MBSJ said the enforcement operation was carried out on September 11, following an inspection and raid on the premises, which was found to be operating without a valid business licence.
“Following that, enforcement action involved the seizure of equipment and related goods as well as the issuance of a Closure Notice which took effect immediately.
“MBSJ will continue to intensify monitoring and carry out integrated enforcement operations in commercial areas to ensure every business activity complies with licensing conditions as well as the provisions of the laws in force,” it said in a Facebook post.
The local authority also encouraged members of the public to provide information and complaints regarding business activities suspected of violating regulations through the MBSJ Complaint Channel.
