SHAH ALAM, Sept 20 — Approximately 426 rat carcasses were collected by the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) around the SS15 area during an operation conducted yesterday.
It said the rat carcass collection operation was carried out following the rat poisoning operation conducted on Friday (September 18) at identified locations.
MBSJ Councillor for Zone One Chia Yew Ken also participated in the operation, together with representatives from the Zone One Residents’ Representative Council.
“They were also directly involved in carrying out the collection of rat carcasses in the area,” MBSJ said in a statement.
The local authority said that efforts to manage cleanliness and environmental control will continue to be intensified to ensure the well-being and public health of the SS15 community remained protected.
