SHAH ALAM, Sept 10 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) issued eight compounds during a licensing compliance and monitoring operation in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Jalan Pos Baru and Klang Utara.
In a statement on its official Facebook page, MBDK said the operation was led by its Licensing and Enforcement departments to ensure businesses comply with the law and promote good business governance as well as an orderly and safe urban environment.
A total of two compounds were issued in Bandar Bukit Tinggi for violations related to business licensing and advertising following inspections of three car workshops and a paint workshop.
In Jalan Pos Baru, compounds were issued for operating without a licence and obstructing a public area after a food premises was found to be operating illegally.
At the same time, four hotels in Klang Utara were inspected and found to have failed to submit feedback and monthly reports related to the collection of sustainability fees.
“MBDK is committed to continuously strengthening monitoring and enforcement measures to ensure compliance with the law, good business governance and an orderly and safe urban environment,” it said.
