SHAH ALAM, Aug 27 — Selangor entrepreneurs may now apply for financing up to RM10,000 without profit under Dana Pantas and Dana Niaga Tani from Yayasan Hijrah Selangor.
In a Facebook post, the foundation said applications can be submitted on the Dana Plus app, with approvals due in as quickly as 48 hours.
Both financing schemes were announced under Phase 2 of the Selangor Resilience Enhancement Package (SREP) tabled by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, with an overall allocation of RM20 million.
The schemes offer a repayment period of up to three years and are expected to benefit about 2,000 entrepreneurs in Selangor.
For Dana Pantas, applications are open to entrepreneurs in all sectors who have been in business for at least a year.
Dana Niaga Tani on the other hand is specifically for traders in the upstream and downstream agricultural sectors, with businesses to have been operating for at least six months.
Among other conditions are that applicants must be Malaysians aged between 18 and 65 and reside and vote in Selangor.
New entrepreneurs, including Platform Selangor (PLATS) participants, are also eligible.
