KUALA LANGAT, Aug 21 – All 548 units in the first phase of the Rumah Selangorku Adiwarna project in Tanjung 12 have been sold out within a year.
State executive councillor for housing and culture Datuk Borhan Aman Shah said that Adiwarna is the first project in Kuala Langat to offer 100 per cent Rumah Selangorku units under the Selangor Housing and Property Board in the Kota Seri Langat development.
It offers the “villament” concept through Rumah Selangorku Type D, a two-storey apartment that combines the characteristics of a landed residence and a townhouse.
"This concept is very good because in rural or semi-urban areas, residents are more interested in townhouse-style houses because they like to have a little yard at the front and back.
"Each unit has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two private parking spaces next to each other," he told the media after the Adiwarna model’s launching ceremony in Tanjung 12 today.
The residence has an area of approximately 1,141 square feet for the ground floor and 1,432 square feet for the upper floor, with a selling price of RM290,000 per unit.
Among its design features are a 38-foot front width, natural lighting, and ventilation, a "green backlane" for the ground floor units, and a private staircase and balcony for the upper floor units.
The development is also planned with various facilities such as a surau, multipurpose hall, children's playground, open gymnasium, open areas, community gardens, jogging tracks, and security.
Borhan added that Phase Two is planned to involve 804 units with an expected completion in July 2029, while the entire development with Permodalan Nasional Berhad involves an area of over 160 hectares.
Meanwhile, Phase One of the project aims to obtain the Certificate of Completion and Compliance by the end of this year.
“This first project has been sold out, so we are waiting for the second and third projects.
“I hope it can be completed and I was told that before Hari Raya Aidilfitri next year, the keys will be handed over to all buyers,” he said.
