SHAH ALAM, Aug 11 — The new Aplikasi KitaSelangor Sepadu (AKSES), or KitaSelangor Integrated Application, was developed as a one-stop platform bringing together various aid initiatives under Iltizam Selangor Penyayang (ISP).
State executive councillor for welfare Anfaal Saari said the move aimed to reduce the need for counter services, speed up application processes and improve the efficiency of state service delivery.
She said the initiative also involves implementing agencies and state assembly service centres to assist those who are less familiar with or have limited access to digital services.
“Through this system, people can obtain information, register, submit applications and check the status of assistance applications online through a more organised and user-friendly integrated platform,” she said.
She was responding to a question from Dengkil assemblyman Datuk Seri Jamil Salleh on measures taken by the state to simplify welfare assistance applications for the poor and needy during the Selangor State Legislative Assembly sitting today.
Meanwhile, Anfaal said a series of outreach programmes is being held statewide to introduce government initiatives through the Wanita Berdaya Tahan Tour, Ceria Selangor Tour and Ceria Selangor Carnival.
She said the launch of Rakan Penjagaan Selangor was also in its final phase to carry out outreach activities, including visiting people in need and matching them with suitable assistance.
AKSES is available at akses.selangor.gov.my, where users can check their eligibility, submit applications online and access the latest information on state initiatives.
