SHAH ALAM, July 21 — The spirit of unity between the nation's leadership, the state government, and the entire civil service will continue to serve as a catalyst for a more effective, responsive, and credible administration for the well-being of the people and the nation's progress.

Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari said this is essential to ensure that the delivery of public services continues to be strengthened in the face of an increasingly challenging administrative landscape.

He made the remarks in a Facebook post after attending the Prime Minister and the Chief Secretary to the Government's Friendly Engagement Session with Central Zone Civil Servants at Universiti Islam Selangor yesterday.

The programme, now in its fifth edition, continues to serve as an important platform for strengthening ties between the country's leadership and members of the civil service.

Amirudin said that in his address, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to all civil servants, describing them as the backbone of the nation's success.

Anwar added that Malaysia's economic growth performance is currently far stronger than initially projected, thanks to the dedication, commitment, and steadfast support of the civil service in implementing the government's policies and national development agenda.

"The event also served as a platform to align our shared resolve and commitment in addressing an increasingly challenging administrative landscape.

"The public service must continue to be strengthened through a work culture that is agile, innovative, guided by integrity, and people-oriented, so that every government policy can be translated into tangible benefits for the people," Amirudin said.

The Menteri Besar also expressed his appreciation to all civil servants who continue to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism in delivering the best possible services to the public.
