SHAH ALAM, July 20 — Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB), through its environmental division (Worldwide Environment), organised the Friendship Bowling 2026 programme to foster closer relationships and strengthen strategic cooperation among state and federal government agencies and media practitioners.

It also served as a platform to build stronger networks in a relaxed setting through sporting activities, while recognising the continued support of strategic partners for the company's various initiatives.

WHB's group chief operating officer for environment Danial Liew said the programme reflected their commitment to strengthening their relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Close collaboration between government agencies and the media is essential in supporting initiatives that contribute to Selangor's development and sustainability.

"Congratulations and well done to all the winners of this year's edition," he said in a statement.

Liew added that WHB hopes to continue organising similar programmes in the future with the participation of more government agencies and stakeholders.

Broader participation would further strengthen strategic collaboration in advancing the state's development and sustainability.

The event was also attended by Selangor Public Works Department's director Shukri Ishak, Gombak District and Land Office district officer Nor Azlina Abdul Aziz, and WHB's group head of corporate, communications, and sustainability Raja Farah Diba Raja Abdul Rashid.
