SHAH ALAM, July 15 — The 2027 Selangor Budget will continue empowering public health networks, including by bringing doctors and treatments right to neighbourhoods and villages, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
“This would complete the entire (health) ecosystem, besides the public health exco’s (Jamaliah Jamaluddin) tour series to promote Iltizam Selangor Sihat. This will impact and add to health facility preparations,” he said when launching Phase 2 of Ambulans Kita Selangor here today.
Under this year’s budget, the Selangor government allocated millions of ringgit to boost public health, including RM2.5 million for Selangor Saring and Selangor Kanser and other free screenings for the people.
The allocation for Selangor Mental Sihat (SEHAT) was also increased from RM700,000 to RM1.5 million, making Selangor the foremost state in strengthening the people’s mental health in a holistic and inclusive manner.
