SHAH ALAM, July 9 — A teenager alleged to have stabbed a Form 3 girl at a school in Banting on Monday will be charged at the Telok Datok Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
An earlier police investigation revealed that the suspect is believed to have stabbed the victim as she was upset from having been bullied.
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar however said that testimonies from several people, including those whose names were on a list written by the suspect, which went viral on social media, indicated no bullying, according to a report by Berita Harian.
“The comprehensive investigation is ongoing and isn’t done. Police request that the people give investigating officers room to conduct a full investigation.
“Initial investigations at this stage found that the excuse given by the suspect was dissatisfaction; it could be said it was repressed feelings towards several schoolmates claimed to have bullied the suspect.
“However, testimonies obtained so far don’t show any instance of bullying,” Shazeli told a press conference at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters here today.
"Bagaimanapun, hasil keterangan yang diperoleh setakat ini tidak menjurus kepada berlaku kejadian buli," katanya pada sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Selangor, hari ini, lapor Berita Harian.
