SHAH ALAM, July 7 — The 15-year old who allegedly stabbed a schoolmate at a secondary school in Banting, Kuala Langat, has been remanded for four days until Friday (July 10).
Utusan Malaysia reported that Magistrate Maslinda Selamat issued a remand order at the Telok Datuk Magistrate's Court to assist in the investigation into the incident, following an application by the police.
Before that, the teenager was seen arriving at the court premises at 8.08am in a police truck and leaving at 9am in a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
Meanwhile, lawyer S. Vijeswari Devi of the Legal Aid Foundation said that her client is a disabled person.
"My client is autistic. That is all I can say," she told the media outside the courtroom.
Yesterday, a female Form Three student at a secondary school was reportedly stabbed by another student.
The victim was reported to have received at least 14 stab wounds, one of which punctured her lung.
The victim, who is the second of three siblings, was stabbed in the back and face until her school uniform was covered in blood.
