SHAH ALAM, July 6 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation), or MBI, has continued to help the needy, with its recent cash contribution of RM33,000 to 13 recipients comprising disaster victims, patients, athletes, and those down on their luck.
Yayasan MBI head Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the aid was allocated according to each recipient’s needs following assessments, with donated amounts between RM1,000 and RM3,000.
He added that applications were submitted to Yayasan MBI or through state assemblymen’s service centres and village heads.
“Each complete application would first be assessed before the appropriate aid amount is approved according to the applicant’s category and needs,” he told Media Selangor.
