SHAH ALAM, June 30 — No parking fees or compounds will be imposed on users following a temporary disruption to the Smart Intelligent Parking (SIP) app, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
He said that he had been informed that the parking app was inaccessible to users due to a technical issue.
“The technical team is currently upgrading the system for migration to a new server.
“While this technical process is underway, I have instructed that no parking fees or compounds will be imposed on users until the technical issue is fully resolved,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post today.
Earlier on Facebook, the app’s service operator Rantaian Mesra Sdn Bhd (RMSB) stated that SIP was experiencing a temporary technical disruption.
The Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation) or MBI subsidiary said its technical team is taking the necessary steps to restore services as soon as possible.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate the patience and cooperation of all users.
“Any updates will be provided through RMSB’s official channels from time to time,” it said.
