JOHOR BAHRU, June 27 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat vice-president Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and Pakatan Harapan secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail accompanied Puteri Wangsa candidate Maszlee Malik to the nomination centre here today.
They arrived at the SMK Bandar Dato’ Onn nomination centre at 8.14am today, where around 100 people were present to show support for Maszlee.
The state constituency has 128,723 voters, comprising 128,525 ordinary voters and 198 postal voters.
Meanwhile, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke today accompanied Harapan candidate Ee Chin Li to the Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim nomination centre in Tangkak.
Loke arrived at 8am and spent some time mingling with about 100 Harapan supporters gathered at the Tangkak Public Recreation Park.
The group then marched to the nomination centre about 50m from the park at 8.20am, chanting “Johor Ke Depan, Undi Harapan”.
In Bandar Putra, Johor DAP chairman Teo Nie Ching arrived at the nomination centre at Dewan Raya Putra at 8.26am.
Teo, who is also deputy communications minister, was present to support Harapan’s candidate for Bukit Permai, Mohamad Shafwan Ani.
And in Batu Pahat, Harapan communications director and Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil arrived at the MRSM Batu Pahat nomination centre at 9.05am, accompanying Harapan’s candidate for Semerah, Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar.
