SHAH ALAM, June 7 — Fifteen recipients in the Pandan Indah state constituency received RM113,500 in contributions to assist with their financial needs and the implementation of their respective programmes.
Its state assemblyman Dato' Izham Hashim said the recipients comprised representatives from community groups, hospitals, suraus, schools, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and individuals.
“Alhamdulillah (God be praised), amid the busy schedule of celebrating (Hari Raya) Aidiladha and attending several official programmes, I had the opportunity to present community contributions to representatives of community groups, hospitals, suraus, schools, NGOs, and individuals within the Pandan Indah constituency,” he said in a Facebook post.
The assistance is expected to help ease the burden on recipients while supporting various community development initiatives.
“We hope that these contributions will help alleviate the challenges faced by recipients and support the efforts of various parties in carrying out welfare, education, healthcare, and community development activities for the benefit of local residents,” Izham said.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the welfare of Pandan Indah's residents continues to receive attention.
“InsyaAllah (God willing), I will remain committed to ensuring that the welfare of the people in Pandan Indah is always prioritised so that the benefits of development can be enjoyed by all segments of society, in line with the principle of Rahmah for All,” Izham said.
