SHAH ALAM, April 1 — Three candidates with Special Educational Needs (CBPK) in Selangor have achieved outstanding results after scoring straight As in the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
Selangor Disabled Persons Action Council (MTOS) chairman Danial Al-Rashid Haron said they are Muhammad A’isy Imtiyaz Mohamad Fuad from Sekolah Agama Menengah (SAM) Bestari Subang Jaya, who has a learning disability and obtained 7A+, 4A.
Also among them is Nur Anati Md Lasif Mulyadi from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Dato Harun, Kuala Selangor, who is visually impaired (blind) and scored 1A+, 4A, 3A-, while Diana Zulfa Zufli, a physically disabled student from SMK Dusun Nanding, achieved 6A, 2A-.
“Special children are not less abled, they simply need support and opportunities. When given the opportunity, they prove they are exceptional. I am very proud of their achievements.
“This is not just about results, it is an inspiration to society at large. Behind this success, I believe there are teachers who guided them and parents who never gave up.
“There is also a continuous support system, and the reality is that special children are equally capable of achieving the success they aspire to,” he told Media Selangor.
