SHAH ALAM, April 1 — The Selangor government is developing a pilot syllabus for a care module encompassing physical, mental and emotional aspects to strengthen community well-being.
State executive councillor for women’s development and social welfare Anfaal Saari said the initiative adopts a holistic approach, ensuring that care does not focus solely on physical health but also emphasises mental and emotional balance.
She said the module will be digitalised to enable wider public access and facilitate flexible delivery of information.
“The development of this syllabus is still at an early stage and will undergo several phases of refinement before full implementation.
“The state government aims to complete the care module by the end of this year to benefit various segments of society,” she said.
She was speaking at the Townhall X Raya Wanita Selangor event at Dewan Jubli Perak here yesterday.
Anfaal said the development of the module also involves collaboration with Wanita Berdaya Selangor and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), including efforts to introduce specialised courses related to caregiving.
