SHAH ALAM, March 16 — Approximately 150 underprivileged students at SK Seksyen 16 received Hari Raya Aidilfitri contributions from Yayasan Koperasi Serbausaha Makmur Berhad (KOSMA) today.

State executive councillor for youth, sports, and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi called on more companies to emulate the foundation's approach by channelling contributions through corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to help ease the burden on those in need as they prepare to celebrate the festive season.

“This programme with Yayasan KOSMA not only eases the burden on families but also brings joy to the children by providing the assistance needed for their preparations to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

“I also welcome any companies that wish to channel contributions through CSR initiatives to assist the B40 group in celebrating the festive season more cheerfully,” he said.

Najwan was speaking after officiating the presentation of Aidilfitri contributions and school assistance from Yayasan KOSMA to the students.

Meanwhile, Yayasan KOSMA chairman Dato' Zamri Mohamed said the total contribution of RM30,000 also benefited 107 students from the Integrated Special Education Programme.

“We remain committed to continuing our efforts to assist those in need across the country as part of our social responsibility,” he said.
