RABAT, March 1 — The President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and a member of the Guardian Council of the Constitution will temporarily lead the country after the death of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Russian News Agency (TASS), citing the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), reported that they will lead the country during the transitional period.
Earlier, IRNA reported that Khamenei had been killed following an attack by Israel and the United States.
He was martyred following an attack on Saturday morning.
