SHAH ALAM, Feb 14 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) won four awards during the Low Carbon City Awards 2025 ceremony in conjunction with the Low Carbon City 2030 Challenge Programme.
The programme was organised by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) as part of efforts to strengthen the commitment of local authorities and strategic partners to implementing low-carbon initiatives.
Under the Partner category, MBSJ Headquarters received four Diamond recognitions, the Hypermedia Library received five, and Kompleks 3K Serdang Raya received three.
Meanwhile, in the Zone category, Bandar Sunway also received three Diamond recognitions.
The awards were presented by the Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Arthur Joseph Kurup and received by Subang Jaya Mayor Dato' Amirul Azizan Abd Rahim.
The recognition reflects MBSJ’s continued commitment to supporting the sustainable development agenda and reducing carbon emissions in line with the goals of the Low Carbon City 2030 Challenge.
