SHAH ALAM, Jan 30 — Inisiatif Buku Darul Ehsan (IBDE) is offering discounts of up to 20 per cent to its loyal readers, at the Kuala Lumpur Alternative Bookfest (KLAB) being held at Pasar Seni until February 3.
IBDE sales and marketing manager Ainunl Muaiyanah Muhammad Sulaiman said the discount is especially for IBDE’s registered members who buy at least three books at its KLAB booth.
“To IBDE’s Bukuwan, which is the membership programme for our loyal readers, you can get discounts of up to 20 per cent. Just register for free.
“We want to celebrate our loyal readers. They will get the discount when they buy three or more books. They may register at our website or at our booth,” she told Media Selangor.

Ainunl Muaiyanah added that IBDE has prepared various activities, including an illustrative stamp by Saharil Conteng and two chats with translators.
She said IBDE would also launch a new book — Basikal Curi — which is a Malay translation of The Stolen Bicycle by Wu Ming-Yi, winner of the Taiwan Literature Award.
“We also have a surprise special book, which is Kongsi Gelap Cina, which will be launched anytime now,” Ainunl added.
KLAB, themed “Berani Kerana Beruang”, features over 80 exhibitors.
