SHAH ALAM, Jan 24 — Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB), through its subsidiary PNSB Construction Sdn Bhd (PCSB), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Daikin Malaysia Sales and Service Sdn Bhd to explore strategic collaboration in the development of the Rumah Idaman project.

The signing, which took place last week, aims to explore the provision of system solutions and technology to support the implementation of the housing project.

PNSB chief executive officer Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim said the collaboration reflects PNSB’s commitment to strengthening sustainable housing development through the adoption of technology and the expertise of globally recognised strategic partners.

“Through this collaboration, both parties have agreed to establish a strategic cooperation framework to explore and evaluate opportunities related to the supply, installation and implementation of Daikin products and systems for future Rumah Idaman housing projects.

“The scope of the collaboration includes technical discussions, product demonstrations and expert support to ensure the suitability and integration of the proposed systems,” he said in a statement.

The MOU signing ceremony saw Raja Ahmad Shahrir representing PNSB, while Daikin Malaysia was represented by its Managing Director, Lawrence Song Yew Beng.
