KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 — AirAsia will donate ₱15 pesos (RM1.05) for every seat sold from November 15 to January 14, 2026, to support typhoon relief and recovery programmes in the Philippines.
The contribution is part of its 'To the Philippines with Love' campaign, launched in the spirit of Asean solidarity following recent natural disasters, including the earthquake that struck Cebu in September and Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi), which severely affected the region.
"We hope AirAsia’s contribution can bring hope, help rebuild businesses and enable residents to get back on their feet," said Capital A chief executive officer and AirAsia Aviation Group advisor Tan Sri Tony Fernandes in a statement.
The donation will be disbursed by the AirAsia Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the airline group, to support relief and rebuilding projects, prioritising community infrastructure and training, as well as awareness to strengthen the capacity of vulnerable communities to respond to future calamities.
