KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 — The unsubsidised retail prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol nationwide have been set at RM3.25 per litre and RM2.65 per litre, respectively, from November 13 to November 19.
The Finance Ministry (MOF) said the retail prices of the fuel are set in line with the increase in global oil prices.
It added that the retail price of the subsidised RON95 petrol under BUDI Madani RON95 (BUDI95) remains at RM1.99 per litre.
Additionally, the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is set at RM3.07 per litre, while in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, it remains at RM2.15 per litre for the same period.
“The price determination is made based on the weekly price of petroleum products according to the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM),” the MOF said in a statement today.
It noted that the government will continue to review and adjust the retail prices of RON97, RON95, and diesel in line with developments in the global oil market, while maintaining price stability as the priority.
Furthermore, the government will continue to monitor global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people are continuously protected.
