KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 — The Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) will implement traffic diversions in Sepang in conjunction with the Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix 2025 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from October 24 to October 26.
Its director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the diversions are to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of road users for the SIC entry and exit routes throughout the three-day event.
He added that 177 senior and junior police officials from JSPT will be assigned to strategic locations to assist in traffic control.
"For visitors who want to go to SIC, the entrance route is via the KLIA Mosque Roundabout towards the SIC parking area or via the KLIA Quarters traffic lights if coming from the direction of Sepang, Enstek, Labu and Nilai.
"They can also use the route via the KLIA Cargo Roundabout to Jalan Pekeliling towards the SIC parking lot.
"For exit from SIC, spectators can use the route from the SIC parking lot towards the SIC traffic lights, then turn right towards Jalan Kuarters KLIA towards Sepang and Enstek," he said in a statement today.
Motorists can also use the route exiting the SIC parking area towards the Bukit Tinjau traffic lights before turning left towards Jalan Pekeliling and then onwards to the Cargo Roundabout.
Yusri also called on motorists to cooperate fully and use the alternative routes to plan their journey in advance to avoid congestion.
