SHAH ALAM, Oct 21 — State executive councillor for investment, trade, and mobility Ng Sze Han led a delegation to the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) in Kedah today to explore potential collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two states in advancing Malaysia’s high-technology industries.
The delegation, which included representatives from Invest Selangor Bhd, the Selangor State Economic Planning Unit, and Worldwide Holdings Bhd, was welcomed by Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC) chief operating officer Che Abdul Khalid Md Din.
Ng said the visit served as an avenue to share insights and explore strategic partnerships with several high-technology companies operating within KHTP.
“We exchanged views on the strengths and advantages of both parties, which can drive economic growth in the central and northern regions of Peninsular Malaysia,” he said in a Facebook post today.
The councillor also expressed appreciation to KTPC for its continued participation in the Selangor Industrial Park Expo (Spark) during the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS).
The recent 2025 series of the trade summit was held from October 8 to October 11.
Invest Selangor, in a separate Facebook post, said the engagement offered valuable insights into KTPC’s management and operational best practices that have made KHTP one of Malaysia’s most successful high-technology industrial zones and able to attract leading global firms.
It noted that the discussions and hospitality extended by KTPC would help Selangor strengthen its position as a competitive and investment-friendly industrial hub.
