SHAH ALAM, Oct 21 — Pakatan Harapan and Parti Keadilan Rakyat machinery in Sabah are called to prioritise genuine connections with voters as the state gears up for its upcoming election in November.
Keadilan vice president Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, who visited the Karamunting constituency operations centre in Sandakan yesterday, met with local party leaders and volunteers to assess the party’s election readiness.
“The most important factor in any election is our ability to know, understand and reach the hearts of the voters,” Amirudin said in a Facebook post today, reflecting on his recent visit to the state.
Accompanied by Gopeng MP Tan Kar Hing and Batu Sapi division chief Aris Remigius, Amirudin praised the Karamunting team's preparedness, noting that some members have been actively campaigning on the ground for the past three months.
“This reflects their strong commitment and fighting spirit in ensuring victory is on our side,’ he said.

During his Sandakan trip yesterday, Amirudin also joined Keadilan candidate Datuk Chew Kok Woh for house-to-house visits in Kampung Karamunting, distributing food aid to families in need.
He added that during the visits, he witnessed the resilience of local residents facing economic challenges and reiterated Keadilan’s commitment to ensuring that “no one is left behind.”
Beyond party activities, Amirudin also attended the Himpunan Solidariti Palestin Sandakan rally at the Dataran Plaza Harbour Mall, organised by the Sabah Islamic Association in collaboration with the Islamic Development Department (Jakim).

The event drew other government leaders, including Deputy Ministers Zulkifli Hasan and Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.
Amirudin's Sabah tour began at the Libaran constituency operations centre, where he inspected Keadilan's election machinery alongside state leaders.
He reminded the party that electoral victory hinges on three critical factors: identifying and engaging voters, ensuring comprehensive campaign readiness, and selecting strong candidates.
The Election Commission has set polling for the Sabah state election on November 29, with nomination day on November 15. Early voting will take place on November 25 for eligible voters in the Sabah state election.
This election follows the dissolution of the 16th State Legislative Assembly on October 6.
