KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 — A police personnel, reported missing since Thursday (October 16), returned safely to his quarters at the Subang Jaya district police headquarters along Jalan USJ 8 early this morning.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed that the 40-year-old man entered the quarters at 1.45am, where he was greeted by on-duty staff.
"Upon receiving the information, the investigating officer immediately took him to the USJ8 police station to file a report and contacted his wife," he said in a statement.
The policeman, who was in good health, informed authorities that he had been in mosques around Morib and Putra Heights during his absence.
His family had filed a police report on Thursday night at 9.15pm after he failed to return home.
